Stirling JKA Karate is a Japanese Karate Association – SKC affiliated dojo based in Karrinyup Stirling, Perth WA. The club is headed by Karin Prinsloo 6th Dan JKA and Graz Prinsloo 4th Dan JKA.
The club’s head instructor Karin Prinsloo is a 6th Dan in JKA and runs the senior class at the dojo.
Stirling karate does a combination of traditional karate, sports karate and conditioning. Karin’s background in studying sports science and international karate experience, contributes greatly to the type of training we do in the dojo. Karin has been training karate for 38 years and has taught and coached karate for over 20 years. She has developed and mentored many top karateka over the years. She has represented South Africa JKA and WKF karate as a competitor and coach at international level. Since relocating to Australia, Karin continues teaching and represented JKA Australia, as a judge, at international level.
Karins extensive career as an international competitor, is a great asset to teaching and mentoring students to achieve in their respective areas of karate.
Karin Prinsloo is a South African karateka, gold medal winner of the 6ᵗʰ World Games in the under 60 kg Kumite category and Karate instructor formerly based in Durban, South Africa, now hailing from Karrinyup, Perth. She is listed among the top 100 Karate competitors of all time.

Grazjyna (Graz) Prinsloo has twenty three years of karate training and 14 years of coaching and teaching experience. Graz has helped coach and teach many top karate students over her years. Graz also represented South Africa as a field hockey goalkeeper at the Athens 2004 and Commonwealth games in Manchester in 2002 and has over 50 international hockey senior caps.
Graz Prinsloo is a 4th Dan in JKA and runs the club’s junior program.
JKA qualification: D Instructor, D Referee and D Examiner.
Grazjyna (Graz) Prinsloo is a South African former field hockey player who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics.
